Conditions{{&&}}
The weather has struck and it is now mid summer and the temperature is on the rise. The humidity rises and fall making it very unstable this summer. Thunderstorms are seen almost every night in the Southern and Eastern Kingdom, up north the ice is melting dramatically causing mild flooding in the northern plains. The Western Kingdom is the only land that remain unaffected by the temperature, the weather here remains at a constant 70 degrees, why this is no one knows.

Life's not about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain.

We had fire in our eyes In the beginning I Never felt so alive In the beginning you You blame me but It's not fair when you say that I didn't try I just don't want to hear it anymore
I swear I never meant to let it die I just don't care about you anymore It's not fair when you say that I didn't try I just don't care about you anymore
Electricity lights up the Eastern Hemisphere, flashing across the midnight sky like a god's fingers reaching out to those below. Thick, dark grey storm clouds hang overhead, blocking out the moon beams and the twinkling stars so there is no but that provided by the lightening. The summer thunderstorm is fierce, sending sheets of rain pelting down upon any not under shelter. But as the indigo heavens are lit up, the jagged peaks of the Shanlia Mountains pierce the horizon eerily. They stand out more than anything else, visible even from a distance. It was a if the mountain range was determined never to fail, to stand strong and act as sentinel over the light kingdoms before it. This could be seen as an omen to the dark forces, that the land meant for the blessed royals was not weak, and neither would it's leaders be.
Lightening crawls across the horizon, and a clap of thunder quickly follows. But a figure was illuminated one of the mountains' many cliff side, standing unafraid against the edge. The rain blurred the vision of any who might be able to see it, but it was easy to assume that it was an equine. Head hanging at whither height, mane and tail drenched, hanging limp. Ears were pricked, though, and burnished gaze staring down at Tamarack Cliffs unwaveringly. It was uncertain what the horse was doing, but the risk it was taking was nonetheless brave. Or stupid, depended on the thought running through the loner's head. But as another flash of electricity revealed the solitary equu, it shifted, and it's new stance spoke quite alot about what it was thinking.
Tall, muscular frame tensed, long limbs locking and thick serpentine arching. Crania lifted to a naturally dominant position, chin tucked against the windpipe protectively. Auds stayed pricked, but ebony whipcords snapped to released the building liquid. It did no good for the coal washed stallion, though, since the rain just kept falling, and drenching his broad torso. Shoulders jutted forth, and the pose of complete authority was finished. There was no doubt in any horses' mind if they saw the statue-like stud standing upon the cliff side that he was in control. And in the Shanlia Mountains, home to the peace keeper's royal family, it was clear who had just assumed the throne of light king. But there was one last thing that needed to be done before the brujo was satisfied with his claim.
Thunder grumbled, growing more distant with each passing hour, the storm fading toward the Southern Hemisphere. But as lightening struck for the last time that night, a scream echoed off of the mountain range and range through all domains nearby. Accompanying the earsplitting announcement was a howling gust of wind, and the final clap of thunder. When all finally fell silent, a humid peace settled over the Eastern Hemisphere. There was a strong, willing king atop the throne, and followers were now able to come and start new lives. But who was this mysterious, onyx clad hessian who still stood atop the cliff side. None would know, yet. Not until the new light king decided to make himself more formally known, but there was time for that still. He preferred the quiet, late night serenity for now.
